Uncompromising material selection
: As always, Alphacool uses pure copper for the NexXxoS 1080 Nova radiator. The end chambers, water channels, and cooling fins are made of copper, a unique feature worldwide. This has made Alphacool radiators among the most popular and best on the market for many years, providing the perfect foundation for any water cooling system.

Powerful cooling performance
: To maximize radiator performance, Alphacool pulls out all the stops. It starts with copper. With a thermal conductivity of 400 W/(mK) for copper compared to 236 W/(mK) for aluminum, the winner is clear. Add to that the special fin density. Alphacool is one of the oldest companies in the water cooling sector and has conducted countless laboratory tests. The result, especially for such large radiators, is a fin spacing of 12 FPI. This results in relatively little airflow restriction, as the air can pass through even at very low pressure. This makes the radiator ideal for low-speed fans. However, cooling performance is not compromised; on the contrary, it is enhanced. To optimize airflow, all cooling fins feature small flaps. These are tiny wings that direct the airflow as needed. On the radiators, these flaps are barely 1 mm high, yet they still create controlled air turbulence to increase cooling performance and minimize noise.

Which fans?
The 1080 Nova radiator offers space for nine 120 mm fans on its mounting frame. For passive cooling, the mounting plate can be removed to allow for natural airflow. Of course, the mounting plates for both fan types are interchangeable. This provides complete freedom in fan installation.

Connection options:
The Alphacool NexXxoS Nova radiator offers two G1/4" threads for IN and OUT. A further G1/4" thread on the rear of the radiator serves as a fill port. Alternatively, a temperature sensor or a drain valve can be attached here.
